My name is Sylvie Ho-Peng. I am an avid reader, writer and literature buff as well as having a passion for cooking. I have a daughter attending Independent School since 2018.
I believe that PTA is a powerful association that can advocate on behalf of students and educators, instill a culture of governance, accountability, responsibility, togetherness and can bring changes where it is needed most. Joining the PTA is my way of building a rapport with the people whose job it is to provide our child with an education, give a voice to those voiceless parties and invoke positive changes within the school’s environment using activities to bridge the gap between parents and the school. I believe being a role model for our child is my way of showing her just how much her education and betterment of the school means to us.
