On Saturday 22nd July 12 Wildlife club students of both primary and secondary participated in a beach safari networking activity with other schools in Region 2 of the Eco school programme. The 12 students had the chance to meet other eco warriors and learn about several aspects of the coastal environment.
They were able to:
1- Identify species living in the marsh;
2- Learn to identify coastal plants using a plant ID guide;
3- Identify and learn about the functions of different coastal defence measures and,
4- They also did a beach clean up.
